Meet the Team at Kilmore Veterinary Practice!

Kilmore Veterinary Practice is a small animal practice in Kilmore, Victoria.

Owned by Dr Stephanie Rowe since 2021, the Kilmore Veterinary Practice team are passionate about providing the highest standards of medicine to the cats and dogs of Mitchell Shire and surrounds.

Clinic Cat

A Kilmore Vet original, Tacocat was a permanent resident when Dr Stephanie purchased the Kilmore Veterinary Practice in 2021.

A cult favourite and all-around great guy, Taco enjoys cuddles, snacks and demanding pats constantly.


Dr Stephanie Rowe

Veterinarian & Practice Owner (DVM, M. An. Sci., B. An. Sci (Hons))

Dr Stephanie Rowe grew up in Kilmore, attending St Patrick's Primary School and Assumption College. Before completing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The University of Melbourne, Dr Stephanie completed an Undergraduate, Honours and Masters in Animal Science, working in large animal research and nutrition, and as an Animal Scientist at Meredith Sheep & Goat Dairy.

Dr Stephanie is a passionate equestrian and enjoys competing at eventing on her 3 horses; Maali, Ava and Ricky.

Dr Stephanie has two dogs, Delilah, a rottweiler, and Atticus, a Newfoundland, and a cat, Mr Bojangles.

Dr Stephanie has recently completed her diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine.


Nicole Harper

Practice Manager (BSci(BiolSc), DipVN (ECC), Cert IV VN, Cert IV TAE)

Nicole joined the Kilmore Veterinary Practice in June 2021. Nicole began her nursing journey in 2006 in a small animal clinic in Dandenong.

Since then, she has completed a degree in Biological Sciences at La Trobe University,  completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a Diploma of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care. Nicole has extensive experience across general practice and emergency & specialty clinics. Nicole also has an interest in training and supporting novice veterinary nurses and has completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She has a particular passion for emergency and critical care, and her main goal is to ensure she is always her patient's advocate. Nicole also has a particular soft spot for cute, scruffy dogs!

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending her time visiting family and friends, travelling to new and wonderful places, and keeping up with her big personality/big bark/clinic regular miniature fox terrier Dougie. 


Annalise Curra

Receptionist

Annalise is an enthusiastic and skilled member of our receptionist team, known for her love of dogs and welcoming smile. Her favourite dog is Mala, who is not only her pet but also her teammate in dog sports.

Outside of work, Annalise enjoys the exciting activity of bikejoring — where she and Mala team up for thrilling rides — and unwinding with the creative art of crochet.

Annalise and Mala compete in dog drive sports for fun, showcasing their incredible teamwork and passion for active, outdoor pursuits.


Hayley Gardoll

Certificate IV Nurse

Hayley is a dedicated and compassionate member of our team, always ready to lend a helping hand. At home, Hayley has two kids and her lovable Labrador, Taylor. Her favourite animal is the bilby, a true-blue Aussie icon!

Outside of work, Hayley is a true community hero, volunteering with the CFA and contributing her time to Girl Guides. Her passion for helping others extends beyond people — she has also raised guide dogs.


Abbey Williamson

Receptionist

Abbey is a valued reception team member, bringing her passion for animals and warm personality to every day at KVP. Abbey shares her life with a full house of pets, including four horses—Whiskey, Betty, Harvey, and Leela — three lovable dogs — Winston, Remy, and Cruise — and a cat named Henry.

When she's not at work, Abbey loves nothing more than spending time with her horses, riding through the great outdoors, or curling up with a good book. Unsurprisingly, her favourite animal is the horse.

Abbey is currently studying to become a speech pathologist! Her dedication to helping others extends beyond her work with animals, showcasing her commitment to making a difference in people's and pets' lives.
